Are you going on a trip with your friends or with your family this weekend? Or is it your honeymoon or you fancy a random walk to find yourself? There is always a reason to be out and about with your favourite people, capturing your favourite moments! Photographs are the most important things to complete your journey. They can help you to remember your fun days again and to tease your friends about what they have missed by not going with you on this trip. The most important thing is that you can share these moments you lived on this special trip with the people you love most, whether that be your friends, family or your dedicated Instagram followers. It could even be shared with anybody else who has a part of your life that may live in a different country or speak a different language because photographs have a universal language and this is called emotions.

Take a long, deep breath, close your eyes and say hi to your camera

I know its weird if you're doing this in front of your friends before clicking their picture, but I used to do this because it gives me a positive energy and creates a connection with the location. But yes, I know, it's weird.

Choose the angle with the best Light

Every Photographer needs to pay attention to light. Make sure to check where the light is coming from, whether that be a natural source or artificial lighting.

Read your camera manual sincerely

The best way to know what you can really do with your compact digital camera is reading your camera manual. So many people don't take advantage of this free goody that comes with the camera. Every camera has different functions, advantages and disadvantages so using the guide will help you figure these aspects out to put you on the road to finding the perfect camera that fits your requirements.

Give Time for your click

Photography is not always as easy as people think. Buying the best or most expensive camera doesn't make you the best photographer, unfortunatly. Whenever you are looking for a great picture, take time to learn how things are going to fit in your symmetry and try to use The Rule of Thirds.

The Rule of Thirds

The basic principle behind the rule of thirds is to imagine breaking an image down into thirds (both horizontally and vertically) so that you have 9 parts. As follows.

The theory is that if you place points of interest in the intersections or along the lines that your photo becomes more balanced and will enable a viewer of the image to interact with it more naturally.
Studies have shown that when viewing images that people’s eyes usually go to one of the intersection points most naturally rather than the center of the shot – using the rule of thirds works with this natural way of viewing an image rather than working against it.
In this image above, the bee’s eye becomes the point of focus.

Try to create A frame with the location and people

This is the main technique to draw attention to your photograph. Try to create a story with your click for example, pushing a mountain, drinking a waterfall or lifting the Eiffel tower with your two fingers.  Draw your imaginations.

Take control of your shutter speed

If we go for the logic, then shutter speed means the difference between a blur photo and an awesome click. You have to be concern what you are after. If you are clicking something moving or running, then you need a fast click, you could try 'sports mode' for this type of photo. Another thing to remember is that if you want to capture something that is in light, then you need to give it some time, around about 1-10 seconds.

Having a sense of lens

As I said before in my camera manual point, first be clear which lens you have to use based on the shoot requirement. The main difference between the camera lens filters is the focal length, also known as the zoom level. A 300 mm lance can make a further away object look closer to you.

Hold your camera properly

You should be aware that there is a right way and a wrong way to hold a DSLR. The correct way is to support the lens by cupping your hand underneath it. This helps to prevent the camera from shaking. If you are gripping your camera at the side of the camera body, it’s not supporting the camera lens therefore this can create a blurry photo.

Inspire from all your/other’s work

Take as much photographs as you can. Look at them from different styles and angles. Now think what you like and what you can improve on in your next photograph. The more you take, the more you observe and make it awesome.

Pick the best camera for you

Because not everybody can buy just any of the cameras on the market, chose a camera that can complete all your expectations to your beginner level. I advise the Canon EOS 750D Body Only Digital SLR Camera because it has all a beginner needs along with my tips and a complete kit of lenses.

A little bit of post processing

One last thing, a professional photographer barely makes any edits in their creations, they just add some post promotion to meet the today's world filter requirements. Don’t do this too much as it will lose it's natural emotions.
